The wedding ceremony will be held at Joaquin Miller Park in a redwood grove special to Natasha and Franklin. A bus will transport our guests from the Lake Merritt Sail Boat House at 3pm up to the ceremony because parking is limited.
The reception following the ceremony will be held at the Lake Merritt Sail Boat house, which has a gorgeous view of the lake. At night, you will enjoy the necklace of lights that ring the lakefront (actually it's technically considered a large tidal lagoon!).
We have reserved rooms at two hotels under our names. They are just a block from one another and located in Jack London Square, which is a vibrant waterfront neighborhood. There is a ferry terminal with regular service to San Francisco and plenty of restaurants and entertainment. There's also a free shuttle to downtown Oakland and good transit connections elsewhere. We hope most of you will not need to rent a car for the weekend. Please book your room as soon as possible as the blocks will be released 30 days before the wedding. The Inn at Jack London is slightly cheaper, but not on the waterfront. Please us know if you have any questions. Do not wait to reserve your rooms; we can only hold the block until late September.

The memories of our loved ones spending the weekend with us will be our most treasured gifts, but we also appreciate your generosity as we build a home and a family.
